About this Short Film
Te Manawa by Tauranga Girls College (New Zealand, 2022) offers a warm, observant glimpse into life at school and the friendships that form there. Through everyday moments and group interaction, the short film explores inclusion, the presence of intellectual disability and the realities faced by teenagers who use wheelchairs. It does not rely on grand narrative; instead it lets small gestures, group dynamics and young voices speak.
