I was playing mainstream sports until I came across blind and vision impaired sports. It has become increasingly difficult to participate in our chosen fields. We don't always have the best resources, but we persevere. Whether we're on the same team, whether we are training with each other, or if we're against each other or competing with each other, we always bring out the best in each other.
It's always been "I can and I will." Blind tennis makes me feel able, not disabled.
Damage to the racket, have we? Yeah, you can see where the, um, the dirt marks, the ball marks have been bloody out. You can see it. Yeah, so that's how hard we hit the balls. Yep, yep. Mine's black; yours is brand new. Yeah? Is it? Yeah. Well...
