About this Short Film
It's Not My Fault (2020) from Dzaleka Filmmakers, Malawi, invites viewers to reconsider assumptions about physical disability and the quick judgments we make. Through scenes featuring a car, a mechanic and a group, the film highlights how perception, viewpoint, prejudice and stigma shape everyday encounters.
