♪♪ ♪♪ Does that rock look familiar? I miss playing that song. I can do better. You can do better. ♪♪ We're on our way to Bundanon. Matt Elliott was selected for the Accessible Arts Bundanon Artist Residency in September 22. One of Australia's most well-respected art residencies, Matt wanted to go to Bundanon to paint the river. Here we are, Matty. Look at this. The river, ready to be painted. I don't want my hair pulled. I've been waiting for a while. We've been waiting a long time, haven't we? It's been a bit of a while. Do you want it washy or thick? Washy. Are you ready, Matty? We're going to begin. ♪♪ Oh, yeah. ♪♪ I've never painted a river before. ♪♪ Matt has been a committed artist for over two decades with support in his formative years from artistic mentors at Studio Arts such as Greg Warburton. How are you feeling, Matty? In the week of Matt's Bundanon Artist Residency, Greg Warburton sadly passed away. I miss them a lot, yeah. Who, Matty? Greg. Yeah. Yeah. I know, Matty. I know. Don't worry, because he's watching. He is watching over. He's so proud of you, Matty. You're continuing his legacy. You paint up a storm for Greg, yeah? We finally made it, Matty. We're finally driving around. We're living the dream. We choose some of your best paintings. ♪♪ How did you feel when you found out that you'd been chosen? I feel like I'm home. One of these will never stop me for ever. In my life, I'm going to be a monster again. I'm a monster. If there's one thing you'd like to say to other artists living with disability, what would you say to them? Put your mind in your art and see it matter. What you want, don't mind. You can do it. ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪
