Hi-ho, my name is Mag-Simon Brown. This year we are doing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I play Sleepy Dwarf. My character is a sleepyhead and is always tired. What I really like about being in this show is performing, marching, dancing and even playing sleeping. Last year's play was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, but then I played a child catcher. So it is nice to have a change from playing villain. Our show is called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and the show is very much like the fairy tale, but just a little bit shorter. Hi-ho, I'm Lincoln. I play the Magic Mirror in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The Magic Mirror is an honest character who never tells lies. I like when the Queen comes downstairs and stands in front of the Magic Mirror. Hi, I'm Mrs. Payne and I'm in charge of the sets, the props and the costumes. At the moment we're working on the castle walls and the cottage for the dwarfs. In the show, the castle walls will be on the right-hand side of the stage to hide Eliza and Lincoln behind until they have to come onto the stage and the cottage will be used to set the scene for the dwarfs. Hi-ho, I'm Mrs. Cameron. For the show, I recorded a lot of the voice-overs. I recorded Well, instead of people speaking on stage, they will be playing the voice-overs and they'll be acting for it. My Queen, your beauty is rare. It's true, but Snow White is twice as beautiful as you. What's the husband betraying me? Hi-ho, I'm Rhys. I play the best of the dwarfs. My character is very shy. My favourite thing to do on the show is the drama. There's so many skills that students can learn from the theatre. They get so much self-esteem from being on the stage. Learn how to follow routines, different kinds of routines. There are quite a few students who have made the set and helped with costuming. Putting yourself out there is really rewarding and getting that energy back from the audience that's watching always makes anybody get a little bit of a buzz feeling from being on the stage. That sense of achievement with being up there and having people applaud you is really great for you. Tonight, I'm in love. I'm a believer, I couldn't leave her if I tried. Our classic beloved fairy tale that is well-known by most people has finally come to Pirate Club Boomer College. We have all really enjoyed bringing this tale to the stage. We've worked so hard rehearsing, but we've had a lot of fun and new experiences. We can't wait to share our show and say hi-ho to you.
