About this Short Film
We are pleased to present You See We See (Yennora Public School, Australia, 2020) as part of the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival. Rather than laying out a plot, the film explores ideas of perception, viewpoint and inclusion. It touches on themes from art, cooking and school life to maths, medicine and community roles, and asks how stereotypes, stigma and assumptions shape the ways we see each other. With a focus on abilities and differing viewpoints, it offers a thoughtful, human look at prejudice and belonging. A gentle, inviting work, it sits comfortably within the festival's celebration of talent and achievement.
