About this Short Film
Mission I'm Possible (Queen Charlotte College, New Zealand, 2021) is a short comedy that brings school life and teenage perspectives into focus through the lens of physical disability. The film includes images of crutches and a wheelchair and works with group dynamics to explore how young people negotiate everyday moments. Rather than laying out a detailed plot, it presents tone, humour and situations that reflect the experiences of teens at school. Shown in the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival, Mission I'm Possible joins a programme dedicated to celebrating the talents, abilities and lives of people with disability.
