About this Short Film
Bulli High School's Statistics wont slow me down (Australia, 2018) is a short film in the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival. From Bulli High School, the film explores themes around being paralysed, living with a spinal cord injury, wheelchair use and the experience of young adults at school. It does not rely on a single storyline but invites reflection on the challenges and strengths that come with physical disability and everyday life in an educational setting. It fits our program by prompting viewers to notice ability, question assumptions and begin conversations about inclusion and resilience.
