Jayden's Story (Irene McCormack Catholic College, Australia, 2022) explores themes of accident, physical disability, school, sport and teenage life. Short and thoughtful, it offers a window into the challenges and achievements young people experience when disability is part of everyday school and sporting environments. The film is an intimate contribution from a school community and sits well within the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival, which celebrates the abilities, perspectives and creativity of people with disability. Expect honest moments, relatable settings and a focus on capability rather than limitation. Suitable for audiences interested in education, disability and youth stories.
