Film Transcript

I was born with cerebral palsy and I pretend to stay undead. Because of the virus that he had in the womb he was supposed to be 85 to 95% brain dead and I didn't give a at the time I just thought I'd carry him on my back for the rest of my life it doesn't bother me then over time I just wouldn't wrap him up in cotton wool from bikes into cars as life went on skids burnouts all the way up to drifting until we started drifting it took him a couple of years to wrap his head around it with his muscle memory and he could do most of the track at one stage and it was just the fastest part of our track he couldn't wrap his head around so Luke ended up getting on his door one day when he's going around the track and just pushed him the rest of the way went door on door and pushed him the rest of the way around the corner from that day on boom it clicked then he just became a really good drifter does it all one-handed because his left hand just kind of sits there and does whatever he wants he's deaf at the same time when he puts the helmet on so he's doing it all by feel sight and just the feel of the car and that and became a really good driver it's not gonna it's not gonna stop you doing what you want to do and I believe if you don't let them do what they want to do I think it works out better so wow if I sat him on a computer or an xbox and was worried about him stacking pushbikes or motorbikes at the time I said he'd never be in the position where he'd never be in the position where he is now where he used to teach down at Archie he was one of the instructors coaches down there and he got so many other people driving when they couldn't drive he's really excelled in in his life considering what he was supposed to be in 85 to 95 percent brain dead so now we can't stop you so just ingame the ability to be a part of something bigger Archie was more family-based community compared to everywhere else it's good vibes yeah the vibes are always good yeah everyone was encouraging everyone big good people no one judged anyone that's the thing like Luke and T were really supportive to get the people on the street they kept it cheaper than like Archie was the most cheapest place in the world so I was there for six years and you know because I was in it for more for fun until you know like a year or two before I just shuttled up and I really wanted to compete but never got to hopefully he does get a place in the future you
