Alinka got invited to a wedding. I got invited to a wedding. A European wedding. So you know what that means, right? She had to get dolled up. The complete package. Nice, everything. So I hit the shops. Found this gorgeous dress. Easy. So, she just needed to get some shoes to match. How do you think I went? How do you think she went? Well, you need to know something first. I have spina bifida. This has affected her legs and her feet. Now, she doesn't let that stop her doing things. She gets around. I get around, but I need shoes with a bit of support. But Alinka has found that shoes with support are not stylish. And why is that? Because people who need support don't want to be stylish. Well, no. No. This is Alinka's story, and it is many other people's story too. Things that other people take for granted. Like being able to get a pair of shoes that look nice. I can't take that for granted. And that made me cranky. And when Alinka gets cranky, she gets going. So, the next day I made a Facebook page. Fashion for Ability. I love fashion. Alinka loves fashion. And I just wanted to talk about it with my friends. So, Alinka invited her friends. She asked them, what do you think? She wanted their opinions. And all of a sudden, I have 220 followers. And now she has a website as well. And a couple of fashion brands send me their new designs to review on my page. So, in Fashion for Ability, Alinka explores how to look the way you want to look and find what you need at the same time. Ah, back to the shoes. So, you know where she got the wedding shoes? Target came through with the goods. Those shoes looked great with the dress. And didn't cost an arm or a leg. A leg with or without spina bifida. And the wedding was beautiful. Perfect. www.Fashionecstasy.com
