Hi, I'm Patty Godreau, I'm Director of Operations for the Blount Clamshack and Blount Soup Stores in Warren, Rhode Island and Fall River, Massachusetts. I really didn't even think or know what customized employment was. I was creating the position of utility for our needs for both the employee and for Blount. It just came as a natural progression. This was something that took care of each skill set of every employee that came to work for us and it definitely took care of all the needs that we needed as a company. So the two just formed and it just was a natural fit. The utility position that started in Crescent Park at the Clamshack now has moved on to the Warren Clamshack as well as our fish market, both located in Warren. And for these positions, they have either stocked soup, did labeling for a lot of our meals to go, again they portioned a lot of items at the Warren Shack, they emptied trash, they cleaned tables and restocked centers of our tables, as well as talked to customers. They're a very, very important part of all of our positions and all of our locations. We all have those lists of 15 or 20 jobs that need to get done on a daily or weekly basis. Make a list and find these wonderful employees and just fit them right into your daily or weekly schedule. That really, really promotes diversity and this is diversity at its finest.
