Sometimes, we need time on our own. We need to look at our surroundings and appreciate where we are and what we have. Sometimes, we appreciate having someone to talk to about our excitement and pleasure. We could have this moment on your own and enjoy ourselves. But if we have someone to share with, the excitement doubles. Sometimes we don't need to say anything. Just being next to each other might be enough, good enough. You will understand each other even though you're not speaking. Sometimes we just want to be heard. You don't need to be understood. You only need someone who can be next to you. Only one person who can be next to you might just be enough, good enough. Sometimes we need to talk about our disappointment and anger. The other day, it was raining. It was pouring down and I was getting wet. I called the taxi. The taxi did not come for an hour. I was getting mad. Bloody taxi. Why are all these taxis so slow? It might be hard to swallow the problem on our own. But when you have someone to share it with, it becomes less difficult, easier. Sometimes you can pick a person to share your joy and sorrow with.
