Film Transcript

I want to tell you a story about some people with very extraordinary powers. Now, these people can't turn invisible or read people's minds or save the world from terrible villains. These superheroes have special abilities that seem to have the world's greatest impact on everyone they meet. My name is Choking Shaz. I am quite the comedian. I love my puns, and my friends think I am really punny. Hey, how do you get Pikachu onto a bus? Your Pokemon. Meet Team Spirit Tom, whose special power is mateship and support. He is always encouraging his mates and is never shy of a high-five or a handshake. My name is Marvellous Mia. My superpower is my booming laugh. And once I start, the whole class is giggling along with me. I'm also very caring. I love cats. This is Courageous Callum, whose superpower is resiliency. Callum has gone through a bit of a tough time. When I had my stroke in 2020... And he has shown such determination. But luckily, I recovered, and yeah, I'm still alive. Getting through this by telling some great stories about his experiences and cracking jokes at the same time. This is Radical Rafe. He's a pretty cool dude. Rafe loves to play jokes on his teachers and loves a hug. This is Awesome Ashley, and her superpower is being helpful. She's always willing to help do jobs and has awesome leadership qualities. Ashley is also a great swimmer. I'm Swimstar Summer. My special power is 5am swim sessions six times a week to one day fulfil my dream of representing Australia at the Paralympic Games. I am Nice Nelly. My special power is my down-to-earth nature. I am quirky and fun. And if I had a super animal sidekick, it would be a giraffe or dinosaur. Meet Joyful Jacob. He has the ability to sing, dance and make you laugh. And he always asks if you're OK, if you're feeling sad. He loves potato chips, Freddo frogs and photobombing. Superheroes don't need to wear capes or save the world. They sometimes just need the support to allow their abilities to shine. And that's the biggest superpower of all.
