About this Short Film
The True Path, by Tsegazeab and Yonas (Ethiopia, 2025), joins the Focus on Ability programme with a considered look at how perception and viewpoint shape everyday life. Drawing attention to crutches and mobility, the film invites viewers to notice small gestures and practical realities without presuming a single story. It speaks to themes of individuality and young adulthood, asking how sight and angle influence understanding. Short and thoughtful, it sits comfortably within our festival’s aim to showcase the abilities, experiences and achievements of people with disability, and offers audiences a chance to reconsider familiar assumptions through a fresh, attentive lens.
