About this Short Film
In the Dark, created by students at Rooty Hill High School, is a 2018 Australian short presented in the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival. The film explores ideas around blindness, perception and viewpoint, and touches on teenage experiences and school life. It considers how a group navigates relationships and sensory difference, including elements of romance and friendship.
