About this Short Film
Studio Space Theatre Co’s 2020 short, We're all in this together, brings Auslan and contemporary dance into conversation with the realities of the Covid era. Filmed in Australia, it features a vibrant group of Deaf and disabled young people, including performers with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities and wheelchair users. The piece celebrates shared creativity and the ways communities adapt and connect when routines change. As part of the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival, it offers a fresh, humane glimpse of young people making space for one another through movement, sign and presence. A lively, thoughtful contribution to the festival program.
