Hello, my name is Carly. I have CP and I've been here all my life. People have trouble understanding me and I'm pretty easy. That is why I have been showing you today to assist me in what I have to say. Carly knows obstacles that are faced every day. Carly's ability to educate people without a disability that people with a disability have human rights and they are aware of their rights. Carly is the boss of her life. Carly has a service provider that encourages her to be empowered. They listen and understand what she has to say and who she wants to be. Here are some of Carly's handpicked team. They support her and stand by her. They are here with us today to tell you what they have learned from Carly. I have learned from you Carly that the different ways that you can be treated by people. Some people are very rude. They don't see you or they talk down to you or they talk to you like you're a child. That's one of the biggest things that you've taught me is seeing all of that. You know there's fear and there's the cazer. What have you girls learned from being here? I would like to thank Carly for teaching me resilience. She has an amazing ability to bounce back from adversity and I would also like to thank her for teaching me the importance of communication and the ability to be able to understand people. The thing that I've learned from Carly is that despite the things that you go through, despite the discrimination, things that you encounter, you're able to bounce back from that and see life in a different light and want to put your voice out there for others who may be encountering the same situation. So I really admire that about her in the sense that she never gives up and she's always willing to make sure that her voice is heard and that people out there who may be in the same situation and face similar things know how to cope with it. So I do admire that about her. This is me going to the shop. you
